Dear GateKeeper,

April 4th - GateKeepers First Friday Luncheon Central Virginia men are invited to attend the GateKeepers luncheon on this Friday, April 4th. Our guest speaker this month is Ismael Labiosa. Ismael is the director of communications for Gleaning for the World. Most people will recognize him from news reports with WSET the ABC television station in Lynchburg, VA. He is also a graduate from Liberty University with a degree in communications. Please feel free to bring a friend or co-worker!

When & Where: The luncheon will be in the new Thomas Road Pate Chapel. Click Here For A Map To The Location Cost: The buffet lunch is $8.00 per person. Guests who pre-register will receive $3.00 discount making it only $5.00. All first time, pre-registered visitors eat for free!! The lunch is buffet style and is served from 11:30 AM until 12:15 PM. A Beast Feast Thank You

Anytime over 2300 men get together to eat, there has to be something good on the menu. At the TRBC Beast Feast the menu included: Alligator, Wild Boar, Venison and Bear Stew. The TRBC Men's Ministry, known as GateKeepers, hosted what we believe to be the largest Men's Wild Game Dinner anywhere. Speaker Russell Thornberry, Editor in Chief of Buckmasters Magazine, author, song writer, and singer, shared some exciting and funny stories about past hunting experiences and then shared his personal story of faith with the thousands of men in attendance.

Beast Feast offered Seminars on hunting and fishing as well as lots of local vendors specializing in the outdoors. At the end of the night thousands of dollars worth of door prizes were awarded including a 14ft Canoe, a Horton Crossbow Package, a TC Omega Muzzleloader, and a Mossberg 500 Shotgun.

A special thanks goes to the many volunteers who invested much time and energy and made Beast Feast 2008 such a success.
