Week Six, Day Four
YOUR Top Five
Micah 6:8

You just died.  One second after you are dead, what is the one thing you will regret the most?  What are the key things that you meant to tell your kids, but never got the chance?  The important point is this none of us are promised one more breath than we are breathing right now, and if we have something to say, weıd better say it!

What are the five most important things you want your family and loved ones to remember forever?  Our passage today reveals Micahıs top three to choose justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God.

If you think that this is too limited of a number, remember that there are only so many things we can place at the top.  We may have many underlying principles to teach our kids, but weıd better have some headliners that we refuse to let them forget.

Can you name the top five things your parents tried to instill in you?  _______________________________________________________________________

How would yours be different?

As this Forty Days with the Family comes to a close, it is time to put our words to work.  Pray about what you top five should be, and write them down.  It took me several drafts to get comfortable with my own.
