Materials you will need: A nativity scene, or a picture of Jesus in the manger.
Every year at Christmas time, lots of people are talking about Jesus, but many donıt know a lot about Him. When these people celebrate Christmas, they may be more excited about the presents of Christmas than the presence of God in their lives! Well, someone needs to tell them that the Lord Jesus is more than a famous baby. Heıs famous for giving the greatest gift in the history of the world!
If you were to ask every person in your neighborhood how to get to Heaven, what are some of the answers that you think you would hear? Probably a lot of different answers! ³Be a good person², ³Live a good life², and ³Go to Church² would be some of the most popular, but they, of course, would all be wrong! When Jesus said that He was the only way to Heaven, he wasnıt being selfish. He knew that the only one who deserved to go to Heaven was the only person without ANY sin and that was Him!
The GREAT news is that Jesus took our place in death so that we would not have to die for our own sins. On top of that, He even rose again after dying to prove once and for all that He is God. And anyone who chooses to follow Him can know Him personally. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 ³That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God rose Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved.²
This Christmas, remember while you are opening your gifts that Jesus gave the greatest gift of all. Tell someone about it!
