Week Four, Day Seven
True Rest

Trapped in a one bedroom apartment

These empty walls are caving in

He never meant it to be over

He never dreamed this would begin

These days the future seems so lonely

Without a family or a wife

He worked so hard to make a living

That he forgot to make a life

While you are climbing up the ladder

Donıt forget, my friend

Time spent making ends meet

Is just a means to the end

When we forget what really matters

Nothing that matters is left at all

Be sure while youıre climbing up the ladder

Itıs not leaning on an empty wall.

Rest is not a frivolous luxury of life.

It is a command.

It is a necessity.

Itıs the tool of time that teaches us to trust.

Pray that God would show you true rest.
