When was the last time you sat in silence before the Lord? No distractions. Todayıs culture undoubtedly has to go down as the most distracted generation in history. Countless voices compete for our attention night and day. Rarely do the most important ones gain the majority of it.
God commanded us to be still. To wait before we advance to sit long enough to know the God we serve.
Put your book down, and check your watch. Spend the next five minutes focusing on the Father. Ask God to speak to you, and be still.
If we want to know God, our first step is to be still. Plan for silence in your life from this day forward quickly, before you get distracted!
