It is believed that the sun burns up more energy in one second than mankind has utilized in all of human history. And that is just one of the countless stars placed in the heavens by our omnipotent God! We often forget the magnitude the absolute bigness of the God we serve.
The evidence of Godıs power is all around us, but here are two key exhibits:
His Creation everywhere we turn, if we open our eyes a little wider, we can see amazing evidence of what God has created in His power and wisdom.
The Power of the Son Jesus had power over nature, sickness, death, and demons. He constantly showed Himself to be all-powerful.
This same God tells us continually throughout His word that He wants to share that power with those who follow Him. And yet, today so many believers are powerless and victimized. Dr. Rick Warren has said, ³God has given us atomic bomb power, and we live firecracker lives.² Most of us have never really grasped the extent of the help that God has to offer us as we do His work. Are we really setting God-sized goals in our lives, or are we setting safer goals that we might be able to pull off on our own?
God wants to give you the power to get started and the power to keep going. We must look intently at His Word and pray for wisdom in trusting God for big things.
