Prayer Changes Me
Matthew 6:8

Tommyıs dad worked on his sonıs special train set every night after his boy went to bed.  The beautifully crafted wooden set was finally completed and certainly would have been every boyıs dream.  Tommyıs third birthday was coming up, but his dad decided to hold off with the gift.  He felt that if he waited for a year or two to give the special present ­ when Tommy was old enough to really want it and ask for it ­ it would be all the more meaningful.

Can God do anything?  Nod your head yes.

Does God know everything?  Nod your head yes.

Have you ever had this thought:  If God knows everything, and God can DO everything, then why do I pray? 

God, who is always ready to listen, already knows our needs.  The Bible says that He even knows that we arenıt very good at asking for things, and He helps us out!  Prayer is not only a great privilege; it is an opportunity to ask our Father for help and guidance.  Prayer does several things:
